My Uncle Has Passed Away

Above (left to right): Azim's son, Asim; Azim; My Father, Babar

Born with an Azaan (Call of Prayer), Died with Namaaz (Prayer). Muhammad Azim Malik, my Uncle, born April 15th, 1945, died April 22nd, 2010 at the age of 65. May Allah (God) grant him a place in Jannat-ul-Firdos (Heaven) and recognize his good deeds, Ameen. He was a calm and righteous man and it's sad to see him pass so sudden. He was undergoing prostate surgery when, as the doctors claim, his blood pressure became extremely low and he passed away. I will always remember his warm hugs and his sweet laugh. When we placed him in the grave, Subhan'Allah his face was already facing towards the House of Allah. Azim Uncle, you will be remembered as an example for us to live our lives with great patience and humility for Allah. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return).

Welcome to the truth. Welcome to the TFAT.

I'm fourteen. I'm born and raised in the Pennsylvania. I'm Asian. I'm not Hispanic or Latino (it's on every job application and/or form, even on the Census). I'm Muslim. My name is Aadil Malik.

That tells you a lot and enough about me for now.

I was recommended by a few to start a blog, my teacher, parents, friends. This is my first posting obviously.

My mission on Truth From A Teen is to share my true opinion, from a teen's point of view. I'll talk about things from religion to Toyota, from Obama to obesity, basically anything that stirs up in the news or while at the dinner table.

But who will read it? I aim for big. However, this is my fourth time drafting a blog.

I plan on doing daily posts, maybe 4 or 5 times a week.

I hope this works out. I hope TFAT clicks.
