The Problem with our Society

I've been studying what I want to do with my life in the past couple of days, career-wise, and I'm stuck on the fact that I want to do EVERYTHING - which, many of you know, is common. I've been taking the career tests, analyzing my personality, doing basically everything I can to get to know me. It may sound ridiculous (sarcasm), but the results are coming up looking like this:

Political Science
Criminal Justice
Human Resources
Health Science/Psychology

Now, I've bolded all of the one's I've considered throughout the past years. Yes, all of them.

I love law and political science because I've always held the dream of becoming a mayor or even President of the United States. I love sociology, which is evident with the creation of this blog (if you haven't already noticed, TFAT is a study of society). Again, same thing basically with law, I love Criminal Justice. I love applying to jobs for my Dad, which is an awkward hobby I know, but I honestly find it enjoyable. That's why I always wanted to open a Human Resources firm for Employment. More careers that are evident with the creation of this blog - Journalism and Writing/Editing. For the longest time, I wanted to become a Health Ed. teacher or a Professor of Psychology. I love talking and reporting information - which is revealed in the Communications career. And last but not least, I'm a amateur graphic/web designer. I do simple work like make advertisements and signs for little to no pay, as a hobby.

Now, today I have come up with a solution. And if there is anyone else out there just like me, who can't figure out their career because they feel the need to do everything, I promise you, I have a solution to all your problems.

You can do it. It's true. It isn't fake optimism, or sucking up, it's the clear, evident truth. You can do it all.

I don't care if you are failing high school, or an unemployed 42 year old. You can do it.

There is an evident problem with our current society, and it's being pessimistic. We think we can't do stuff only because it requires effort. In fact, EFFORT is the only thing that keeps you away from being an A+ student in school from a F- student. Seriously. We are lazy. And because of our laziness, we are unsuccessful.

Opportunity is in your hands, plan your life, and I promise it will be worth it.

I plan on studying Psychology, Sociology. I plan on going on the news. I plan on blogging. I plan on becoming an author. I plan on opening a Human Resources firm. I plan on continuing my hobby of building web sites and amateur graphic designing. I plan on teaching. I plan on becoming a Mayor. And I will.

Because my father told me right - you shouldn't only dream, because they will lead you to become overconfident; instead set goals, because they will leave you successful.

-That's the TFAT.
